Volunteer at DeBakey
Our school flourishes with the help of parents and community members.
Whatever your schedule, DeBakey has a place for you.
You can volunteer at the school, work on projects at home, chaperone at school events and field trips.
Step 1: Register as a volunteer through HISD's Volunteers in Public Schools (VIPS) program.
Step 2: Contact the DeBakey's main office (713) 741-2410 and ask to volunteer. Or contact Sheryl Ford, PTA volunteers coordinator at 713-748-5204, or email your student's teachers and ask what you can do to help.
